OUR CLUB1614 LOYALTY SCHEME HAS CHANGED (effective 1 October 2020)
Any points earned and not converted to gift cards expired on 30 September 2020. Gift cards issued prior to 30 September 2020 will be valid until 31st March 2021.
Since 1 October 2020, we will no longer award points for spend but instead offer a discount of 10% off food & non – alcoholic drink instantly upon check out, Monday to Wednesday only, when you present your Club 1614 card to a member of staff.
Instant discount at the check out will continue until 14 December 2020.
Discount is only available on Food and Drink purchased in the Lewis Restaurant and on DIRECT hotel bedroom bookings only. Bedrooms booked via Agents such as booking.com, trivago etc are not eligible for discount.
The additional benefits you have received will continue, such as discounts on event tickets, early notice of themed gin and wine evenings, and exclusive events.
The Old Inn operate a loyalty program named Club 1614 (please note rules, terms & conditions below changed per above effective 1 October 2020)
A registered loyalty card member will be awarded one loyalty point for qualified spend, calculated at 5 points per £1 spent on food & beverage. 1 loyalty point = 1 pence. Points cannot be earned or redeemed for weddings, private parties, conference and events and cannot be earned for gift voucher purchase. Points earned will be awarded on the same day of transaction and applied to your loyalty account on presentation of your loyalty card at time of purchase. On occasions, Club1614 members might be asked for supporting ID in the use of their card. Points cannot be redeemed within 24 hours of purchase. Only the cardholder can claim points earned. Points cannot be claimed by two different parties for the same booking. You will be sent a monthly e-statement informing you of your points balance. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a statement may not be sent where the Member has not accumulated any points during the immediately preceding six months. A Member may also find out how many points they have accumulated by checking their account on this website. If no points have been earned or reward redeemed for a period of 12 consecutive months, the account will be deemed to have lapsed. Once an account has lapsed all points accrued against your Membership shall be forfeited and shall be closed. Points are not redeemable for cash and have no value unless presented for redemption in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. A minimum point’s order value of 1000 points applies (£10).
Redemption of Loyalty Vouchers
Members may exchange points under Club 1614 loyalty program for accommodation and/or food & beverage by requesting a loyalty voucher online from this website. Once points have been exchanged for a loyalty voucher no refund will be available. Monetary loyalty vouchers are available in denominations of £10, £25 and £50 listed on this website. Vouchers will be delivered to your registered email address. Loyalty vouchers can be exchanged in part payment for accommodation and/or food and beverage however the terms and conditions for the rate booked will apply. Loyalty vouchers cannot be redeemed against pre-paid accommodation rate. Loyalty vouchers can only be used by the registered member and are non transferrable, however loyalty vouchers can also be exchanged for a Old Inn Gift Card at the hotel, subject to availability and permitted periods. The loyalty voucher must be used within 12 months of date of issue in whole or part of any single transaction. Please quote loyalty voucher number for redemption when settling your invoice on departure from the hotel, otherwise full payment will be required by cash, credit or debit card. There are some exceptions to when reward vouchers can be accepted, this is regrettable and is only on peak dates and occasions in order to maintain speed of service, including but not limited to:
New Years Eve
New Years Day
Valentines week (Saturday to Saturday either side of 14th February)
Mid Term Breaks (Easter, Hallowe’en)
14th December to New Years Day (or 2nd Jan if 1st is a Sunday)
Card Issue & Definition
The Old Inn operates loyalty programme membership cards named as Club 1614. Only one loyalty card per visit, can be used per household. As a member, cards can be used to earn and redeem points in accordance with these terms & conditions. A member will be issued a loyalty card after registration for free of charge. Points earned and cards issued are non transferrable. Member loyalty cards in issue are the property of The Old Inn and have no cash value. Should a card be lost or stolen the member must notify by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in person at the hotel. Your account will be suspended and a replacement card issued. Points as of date & time of notification will be transferred to your new account. The Old Inn and it’s loyalty program operators, Inspire Loyalty will not enter into any dispute concerning points awarded or redeemed and assume no liability whatsoever to damages claimed, infringed or caused by participating in the loyalty programme named as Club 1614.
Should you decide to cancel membership, you can *delete your account entirely under My Account, after login, or please advise by email to email@example.com. On cancellation any loyalty voucher not used will become invalid and points awarded will be nullified. Your loyalty account will be closed and any transaction history removed from our system. *All historical information we have collected from you is irretrievable so please ensure your intention before proceeding.
Booking Restrictions and Limitations
Redemptions are at all times subject to availability. The Old Inn does not guarantee to be able to offer the rewards for any date(s) .
Points will not be awarded for Spend on:
(i) Rates booked through 3rd party online retailers including but not limited to: Lastminute, Expedia, Orbitz, Booking.com, and Laterooms.
(ii) Wholesale/tour operator packages
(iii) Private party bookings, wedding, conferences and events
(iv) Gift voucher purchase
The Old Inn reserve the right to change program benefits (including, but not limited to, point redemption and earning values) and/or membership levels at any time. Membership is awarded at the Company’s sole discretion.
Customers must be over 18 years of age to participate.
Employees of the Company or its agents are not eligible to participate.
Only one Membership of the loyalty program per person is permitted. The cardholder must be present at the time of points accrual.
Membership, points and rewards (including loyalty vouchers) are non transferable but can be exchanged for a Old Inn Gift Card at the hotel, subject to availability and permitted periods.
It is the Member’s responsibility to update their profile online or inform of any changes to their details, including but not limited to, their change of name and/ or address.
In the event of death this will result in cancellation of loyalty membership and forfeiture of any available points balance.
Should a gift voucher become defaced or lost it shall not be replaced.
The Company reserves the right to refuse Membership or to cancel any Membership and revoke any and all unredeemed points collected by any Member for reasons including, but not limited to, fraud or misuse of their Membership and/ or any violation by the Member of these Terms and Conditions. In the event the Club1614 Scheme is withdrawn no monies or points will be redeemable.
Some employers may prohibit or restrict employees from participating in reward programs such as Club 1614. The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for compliance with any such policy which a Member’s employer may operate.
Club 1614 points earned for accommodation is restricted to guests who book and stay and therefore excludes bookings made on behalf of guests i.e. travel agencies and third party operators. The Club1614 scheme can be withdrawn without notice at anytime.
Accommodation points can only be earned when booking direct with hotel via our own website, or by calling the hotel on 02891 851355.
The relevant Member is responsible for the payment of any tax due in respect of any reward. All terms & conditions are in conjunction with our supplier Inspire Loyalty.
By registering and participating, loyalty programme members agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Inspire Loyalty are a loyalty company who provide loyalty programmes to the travel & tourism industry by representing client loyalty websites and clients on the Inspire Loyalty app, transactional products and data marketing platforms for their customers, partners and staff. Inspire Loyalty takes great care with personal information that is provided to us online, taking steps to keep it secure and ensure it is used for stated purposes only. All data we collect on this website or received via the Inspire Loyalty app is encrypted which is evident by the SSL (secure sockets layer) padlock you can view in the browser of this website.
Collecting information about you
If you registered on this website or our client represented on the Inspire Loyalty app and ticked the box before submitting the registration form you have given consent and agreed to receive future email messages relevant to your rewards account or the client’s business which we represent.
